  • Sea salt contains many minerals eg iron, sulfur, magnesium – increasing overall nutritive value.
  • Sea salt helps maintain a healthy balance of electrolytes in the body.
  • The refining of table salt strips it of all of its minerals.
  • Table salt is an unnatural compared to sea salt.
  • A major disadvantage of sea salt – low iodine levels.
  • Because iodine is added to table salt it makes it a better source of the mineral.
  • Sea salt contains impurities because it is derived from sea water.
  • Sea salt can taste less salty compared to table salt due to the mineral present in it.

That’s right, it is rare that when I am helping people with their skin
problem, that we focus only on the skin. When you are wanting to
maximise the health of your skin, you simply have to be addressing
other aspects of your health and making sure that you are as healthy as
possible in every way. It is difficult to take this approach when it is
your skin that is the most troublesome…..
